62 low / 72 high
With high wind warnings for northern Georgian Bay we decided to stay put today. It is forecast to ease up tomorrow then increase again Sun. through Tues. If it does then we will head for Killarney. In the mean time today we did a lot of odds and ends on the boat. She is in good shape and despite some recent history is running well. We had dinner last night here at the restaurant which was adequate. Our cruising guides say there is the Old Britt Inn, a grocery and an LCBO store nearby. When Ann asked at the office how far town was he replied "your in it". The grocery and LCBO closed 2 years ago and the Old Britt Inn last year. The Marina now houses the grocery, which is pretty well stocked, as well as the LCBO. That was welcome as we were getting short of wine. There is also a campground with small permanently placed travel trailers. Some are fixed up with decks and lots of flowers. The washrooms are clean and nice but a shower will cost you a "Loonie". Remember that's $2. You place the coin in the slot, push it in and turn the shower on and hope it lasts to wash the soap off.
