Yesterday was a nice relaxing day while waiting for the weather to move through. We are at the Island view resort just above lock 27. Now the word resort means different things to different people as you will see from the pictures below. It is quiet and peaceful with room for only 2 boats our size.
Ann cleaned and we did laundry then I planned out our next few days of travel. Freya, the harbor host from Peterborough came by to deliver the Canadian bacon we ordered. Think of a package of it that we can buy before you look at the pictures. It is the size of a pork loin. We ordered 2 thinking of what we can buy. Very lean, no fat and we can't wait to try it.
Ron & Jan walked down from the lock wall and we had docktails again with them.
