Fenelon Falls

57 low / 63 high    2 locks today / 40 total for 2014

We awoke to a chilly morning yesterday. A little later start after a pump out and off into the lock. We picked up Adagio who spent the night above the lock and proceeded on for a short day to Fenelon Falls. Most of the days travel was through lakes with hundreds of homes along the shoreline. We are seeing much more boat traffic the farther north we go, especially rental houseboats.

Fenelon Falls is a lovely little tourist town and the upper lock wall is right downtown. We were lucky on arrival and found a spot open for us. There is also electric and water on the wall. After lunch, Ann & Jan explored the shops while Ron and I rode our bikes to the LCBO and grocery store. We had dinner at a restaurant just down the street that had a Wednesday night special of wings for .55 each. Ann, Ron and I took advantage and had enough left over for lunch on the move today.

Lunch on the patio

Ever see a pie shop?
