Taking advantage of our free night here we stayed another day. Some time was spent plotting routes for the next few days. The 4 of us took a bike ride into town in the afternoon. We had to go to the post office, the grocery store looking for a steak since we didn't want to defrost the one we had and to LCBO. We all met up again at the Boathouse restaurant for a drink before biking back. Ann & Jan got a ride to WalMart where Ann got her watch battery replaced and Jan got some craft stuff to work with.

The mechanic finally came that I had requested when we arrived to look at the alternator. It was starting to sling grease and the verdict was the front bearing seal. He pulled the alternator and took it to a shop to have the bearing replaced. Said they usually do same day or next day service. It didn't come back yesterday so hoping for today. Didn't think to have him look at the other alternator because it has been doing the same thing just not as bad. So we may still be another day if that needs repair also.
