Parry Sound

66 low / 77 high

The plan yesterday was to leave the dock at 900 am and meet Don & Helen on Mirimichi just south of the island where they anchored Sat. night. We had a little trouble getting into reverse, but managed to get away on time. We met them as scheduled and fell in behind for the 50 mi. trip to Parry Sound. It was great having them lead as we took many small channels that you need local knowledge to transit. The scenery was breathtaking. We arrived at Sound Boat Yard just after 300pm and found Ron & Jan here. They were having battery problems and came here to have them checked today, Mon. Don dinghied over from the marina where he was staying across the bay and joined all of us for docktails. Dinner was aboard and bed was early.

Leaving Bay Port.

The join up.

Cottage?

Boats at anchor in a little bay we traveled through.

Note the rock figure.

The boat yard.

Charis safely tucked in.
