Yesterday was a rest day for us after the 8+ hours on Sat. This weekend is Killarney's summer festival called Beer fest. Now with that name you'd think there would be booths or stands everywhere selling beer. Not! It's actually an event to raise money for the volunteer fire department and help the local school. Sat. night there was a dance and Sun. afternoon a fish fry. We skipped the dance but did partake in the fish fry. Very good! Also visited an art show with displays from several local artists. After lunch we took a dinghy ride up and down the channel. Dinner was with Ron & Jan at the old Killarney Mountain Lodge. Back on the boat as it got dark they showed Grease on the boat-in theater screen just in front of us. The audio was on an FM station but we couldn't pick it up.
Today, Mon., there are high wind warnings in effect for the North Channel so we'll stay put until tomorrow.
