South Haven day 2

71 low / 82 high

We are winding down our travels of the Michigan coast and stretching the days before arrival in Chicago. Our daughter Shelly and family arrive the morning of the 29th for Labor Day weekend. Chicago marinas are expensive so we don't want to arrive to early so it's a matter of playing the weather forecasts for crossing over and stays in different ports. Yesterday seemed like summer was finally catching up to us. It's the first time we've run the ac this summer. Humidity was 96% and the temperature got up to 82. I know my Florida friends are laughing at that but when you've been living with 50's - 70's, it's hot! An easy day consisted of lunch with 2 looper couples then a trip to Walmart for some oil and a few staples for the rivers. A gold looper (means they have completed the loop) stopped by in the morning and offered to drive us. Later for docktails we were introduced to Mexican train dominos. You can only play after a drink or 2. Dinner was onboard as the town is very crowded being Friday night.

The culprits, Andy & Julie from Fruitcakes, John & Sue from Thanks Dad and us.

The marina office.

No, just stop right there, you can't do that! I think.
