Northport, Michigan

58 low / 78 high

We departed the Charlevoix Marina at 750 am in time to make the 800 am bridge opening. We were accompanied by several sailboats and all lined up to go. Lake Michigan was like glass so we made good time to Northport. If we hadn't had to have a fuel tank looked at we would have kept going. As we entered Traverse Bay, Ron and Jan crossed their wake. That means they crossed their loop starting point. That also means they will go off on their own now and cross over to The west side of Lake Michigan and explore that. This is a quaint little town with a nice marina. We had lunch and dinner out and were up early to see Ron & Jan off.

More of the houses around Charlevoix.
