Ludington day 2

62 low / 70 high

I'm beginning to think that we are stuck in the weather cycle that we were warned about where you can travel only 1 in 4 days. Today we had rain most of the day. We did get out about 500 pm and went up to the brewhouse again for happy hour. Once there we decided to have dinner and then come back to watch the SS Badger come in from Wisconsin. He was a bit late as the fog rolled in around 630 pm so he had to slow down. As you'll see in the pictures, he came directly into the harbor and dropped his anchor and then pivots around it 180 degrees to put his stern to the dock. It's an amazing sight to watch. Today is another weather day with high winds and waves. Tomorrow looks promising!

The waterfront park has many bronze statues. This one is follow the leader.

Party boat.

Here she comes in the fog.

Just about to drop the starboard anchor.

Pivoting.

Notice the anchor chain.

A 2 story version of Charis. Also home built.
