Chambly

Short day today. The locks don't open until 9am and we couldn't go through locks 6,5 &4 until 1115 due to traffic. Once we started we went through them fairly quickly as they are down locks. We stopped at the wall just before lock 3 which is right in town. Ann, John, Barbara and I walked down along the water and found a very nice bistro for lunch. That affair took us almost 3 hours. Afterward we walked to the grocery store to pick up some cheese, bread and fruit that we would have later. The lunch was enormous and we knew we couldn't eat another meal. Took a short nap back on the boat and later had our snack aboard Go with John & Barbara. Today we will travel to the public dock at the St. Ours lock. Monday to an anchorage about halfway up the St. Lawrence river and Tue. continue on to Montreal for several days. Probably will not have internet again until then.
