A trek into the mountains and covered bridges.

Yesterday we rented a car and drove north east from Burlington to see some covered bridges. We went to the little town of Montgomery where there are 6 bridges within the town limits. We had lunch in the only restaurant that was open. Then off to see the bridges.

We actually drove through several of these. When we headed back to Burlington we chose a road that had several more on it. It was a fun day. We took the free trolley back up College St. to the walking street and had dinner at a French Bistro. The food was excellent.

The whiskey bar where we stopped the first night in town.

I finally mad contact with the air conditioning repair man. He will meet us tomorrow at Rouses Pt, NY. This is our last stop in the US.
