We had a leisurely morning as there is no one here at the marina and nothing around us. John & Kathy picked us up at 1100 am and we drove to Kilmarnock, Va. where John said he had one of the best hamburgers ever. At Northern Neck Burgers for lunch I had to agree with him that they are quite good. From there we visited the Historic Christ Church built in 1735. It was funded by Robert Carter, a wealthy plantation owner and built on his land. The worshipers sat in high-backed, wainscoted box pews and looked up to a rare triple deck pulpit. We later had drinks and snacks aboard for supper.
