On to Smith's Falls and the half way point.

Another beautiful day traveling to Smith's Falls.

Another home along the banks.

It gets very narrow!

This is a set of 3 old locks that were replaced by 1 large one that is the first we've seen that wasn't hand operated. This is now lined with plants and flower pots.

We got a dock space in Victoria Park right on the canal. We walked the town and toured the Rideau Canal Visitor center which is 4 stories high with different exhibits about building it.

The Visitor Center.

Lots of flowers.

Charis across the canal.

As we walked back to the boat we stopped at a bar/restaurant for a beer. This was the Roclyn House built in 1895. It overlooks the park and canal.

In the park.

We had dinner with Greg and Susan Han aboard Allegria. Great time!
