Lock 17, Burritts Rapids

We had a short 3.5 hour day yesterday so we could arrive in Merricksville early today with hopes of finding a spot on the town wall. We spent the night on the wall above the lock on the west side and the guys ran a power cord up to us. The east side has power receptacles but a boat pulled in and took our spot while we were in the lock coming up. It is a very quit and peaceful place. Pictures will follow when I get wireless.
