No travel today!

We were woken up last night to several loud thunderstorms and this morning the winds were 17 gusting to 25 with 1 foot waves and whitecaps directly on our beam. I had to move the fenders from the other side of the boat to the pier side because I was afraid one of those might burst. We had rain off and on all morning and finally about 330 pm the wind started to die down. Needless to say we didn't go anywhere today. We got caught up on our planning of stops all the way back to Brewerton, NY where we will winter the boat this year. We'll be a couple of weeks early but that gets us home a bit earlier and we have a busy Oct. ahead. Tomorrow we'll go to Westport  and then the next few nights will be on lock walls. Then Sun. into Kingston for several days. Don't know about internet but will post if possible.
