Northbound again to Half Moon Bay in Croton on Hudson

We departed Liberty Landing Marina at 0810 yesterday morning amongst 20 something sailboats. It was a beautiful day heading north. The Hudson was flat as a lake, the sun was out and no wind. After flying around the world for so many years at a gazillion miles per hour, it's something to now travel at 10 miles per hour. What incredible sights were to unfold on our journey.

Talk about a staircase!

The Concord has landed on the Hudson.

George Washington bridge, the first one north of the city.

The Tappan Zee bridge.

Sing Sing prison.

Half Moon Bay is a wonderful marina just south of Haverstraw on the Hudson. We traveled with Rick & Leila on Sun Gypsey and got in just after noon. The owner/dockmaster is a young guy named Steve who goes all out to insure we are happy. He drove us into town to the gourmet market where we had lunch and did a little shopping and bought fresh fish for dinner. After the sunset we had docktails aboard HOW LUCKY Again with Michael and Leslie.
