Starved Rock Marina

Yesterday was a short day of just 1 hour but will cut time off the long day to Peoria today. When I called the marina and inquired about depth she told me they had at least 5'. As we entered looking for the fuel dock we were churning up mud. Then she told us the fuel dock was out in the river so we had to turn around and head back out. After refueling & a pump out, I took my hand held depth finder and checked the slips. Only 3.8' so a no go for me needing 4.5'. Adagio & Thanks Dad were in ok. Had dinner at the on site restaurant which was good. Up at 430 am to call the lock to see about going down but he said probably not until 830 am. We were hoping to go at 630 am.
