A whirlwind Labor Day weekend.

73 low / 84 high

The whirlwind weekend ended late yesterday with the kids flying back home to Florida. Sunday we had a great brunch at the Colombia Yacht Club to start the day. Then it was off to Navy Pier which is the most popular tourist attraction in Illinois. The grandkids spent quite a bit of time in the childrens museum where they had floors of interactive displays. Later several of the group rode the ferris wheel. That evening we all took the sunset architectural tour. Quite different at night than during the day with all the lights. Yesterday Ann and I took the grandkids to the aquarium for the morning. They really enjoyed that. After they all headed out for the airport we got together with several other loopers for doctails and to compare notes for heading down the river today. A great weekend.
