Paris Landing State Park

57 low / 84 high

Yesterday was a beautiful day to get underway again. We enjoyed our stay at Green Turtle Bay but we were ready to go. A short distance south of the marina is the Barkley Canal which connects Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake. Once through that we are on Kentucky Lake and the Tennessee River. The scenery was stunning. We crossed into Tennessee about 40 miles into the trip. Our first day in a while traveling with no tows. We arrived at Paris Landing State Park Marina about 230 pm. John & Sue on Thanks Dad were here waiting for us. After catching up on things we had a fish fry on the dock. It was great. Today will be a short day heading for Pebble Isle Marina.
