Another early wakeup to call Starved Rock Lock at 500 am. He said maybe about 830 am but call back in a few hours. I called again at 730 am and he said someone else had called and he told them to get everyone together by 800 am. We knew that these were the ones you stayed back at Heritage Harbor so we headed out and got to the lock just after 800 am and were the first ones there. 1 other fast boat came in and the gates closed as the group was 45 min. away. Our decision to move closer paid off. After the lock it was just open river all the way to Peoria. This is where we leave Ron & Jan on Adagio for good. This was there home before starting the loop 3 years ago and untimely buying a house in Fla. We've had a good summer traveling with them. From here we hope to continue with John & Sue on Thanks Dad. We had dinner at the club restaurant and a good nights sleep. The heat really took it's toll on all of us.
