We departed Myrtle Beach before the sun was up this morning not knowing how long it would take us to traverse the slow speed/no wake zones established due to the flooding. It was sad to see some of the homes where the water was still up in the yards (pictures below). It was also cold this morning at about 41 degrees. Once through the 10 mile or so zones we made good time down the Waccamaw River arriving in Georgetown a bit after 2pm.
